Twenty Twenty – Wuon-Gean Ho

Twenty Twenty was made at the beginning of 2020 when none of us knew what the future held. It depicts a girl in the kitchen drinking tea and enjoying the sensation of being at home. The kitchen is small but cosy, she has her back to the washing machine and there is a warm glow, despite the dark shadows. She is surrounded by favourite things, with time to think and in a safe space. On the counter, the clock and the mobile phone screen both read 8.20pm.
