Description

About the Artist

Rachel Duckhouse is a Glasgow based visual artist working primarily in drawing and printmaking. She works on research based projects which often begin with sketchbook drawing and culminate in process led experiments in the print workshop. Her research explores patterns, structures and flows in specific landscapes or situations, using the processes of drawing and printmaking to respond to a place and/or communities. She has undertaken research based residences in Canada, Australia and the Outer Hebrides, and has exhibited work in the UK, North America, New Zealand and Singapore. Her drawings and prints have been acquired by collections around the world including The British Museum and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
